Board wanted Fort MacMurray area

There is someone out in Ontario who is moving to Fort MacMurray and would very much like to bring her horse with her. She is having trouble finding anywhere to board in that area.

Do any of you have any suggestions? Thanks.

I have boarding spots available, i am in Plamondon though. But i do have a new boarder coming from NS that will be living in Ft Mac also.

I am in Fort McMurray, unfortunatly there is only one place to board here and you dont want to put your horse there beleive me. There is also Clearwater horse club but they have a huge waiting list. There are leases on Tower road but are all held privately and no one can/does board. I am on Tower road and will have mine for sale this summer--once i sell my house. I have an ad on Kijiji in Fort McMurray if you want to look at it, unfortunatly Fort McMurray is not a horse friendly community and having one here is very hard and extremely expensive

Thank you for the responses. I think that excelequine might be the way to go for the horse owner. It is a couple of hours away, but that is better than having to sell the horse, I think. It is probably a tad warmer there in the winter too.

How does it work out there? Do you think I could go out and put posters up saying I need a spot for my mare?
Are there usually a couple of empty paddocks?

no--people only caN Have there own horses out there
