Whats she worth?

I'm just wondering what everyone thinks about how much my horse is worth. I dont nessacarily want to sell her but I am curious because I am always on the web looking at horses for sale.
She is a 10 year old mare (red dun buckskin) that was trained for barrel racing, which is what I use her for, but she was overworked by her last owner so she has some issues.
With a calm, confident rider she runs at the bottom of 3D at jackpots and such.

Anyone have any idea on how much she would be worth? I originally paid $5000 for her and I put around $1000 of training into her.

What kind of issues are you refering to? Without knowing that you wouldn't be able to get any type of estimate.

She won't pick up the right lead when cantering
She doesn't slow lope due to trust issues
She holds her head high
And if not given enough attention, she gets herd bound...
But other than that she is really sweet.

That's a really tough call to put a price on her. Sorry I can't really help!!!!

Unfortunately in this market the price is really low! I would say probably the $5000 mark if you can find the right buyer, but with horses so cheap now, you can get some pretty good ones for under $3000. Sorry I'm not much help! To help you gage, I bought a coming 3yr old QH mare, Peptoboonsmal bred for $290, and an unregistered QH pally mare, 9yrs old, good training for $750. Market is good for us buyers, not so much for sellers!
