He looks dark bay to me. Which is my favourite colour! Dark bays often have the pale legs which then shed out black. He is cute!

I am hoping blue roan!! he is almost 2 weeks old and still has no black on his legs, our other colt (who is bay) already has the black points starting on his legs, and is only 3 days older than him. does that make any difference?? his sire is a DARK bay.

I would say Bay right now, as my bay yearling colt just now has changed from his grey legs to black. It looks like is dam is a roan though...so he does have a chance of roaning...the only way to get roan is one parent has to be roan....its like grey..one parent has to be grey to get grey! What color is his sire?

I think he'll be dark bay, if not then blue roan. Like already posted, it's hard to tell with roans cause it takes a while for it to show up. He looks georgous no matter what colour his baby fuzz will reveal!

He sure is pretty. My old gelding looked like that and turned out to be a BAY ROAN...very flashy! You may even get a Gruella. Hard to tell at that age!! Keep us posted!

THANKS FOR ALL THE COMPLIMENTS!! HE IS TRUELY A WONDERFUL LITTLE GUY! His sire is a realy DARK bay son of Paddys Irish Whiskey so if you wanna see what his sire basically looks like take a look at Paddys. His dam is a TRUE blue roan mare who is a granddaughter of Eminent Son and her last years foal is a REALLY dark bay roan. Either way I will be happy with this little guy, He will be offered for sale. Im just debating whether to sell him now or as a broke 3 year old, either way he will be for sale some time.

I HAVE DECIDED TO PUT GUNNER UP FOR SALE, HE WILL BE READY TO TAKE HOME IN OCTOBER. HE IS A GRANDSON OF PADDYS IRISH WHISKEY, WE WILL BE TAKING HIS REG, PHOTOS TOMORROW AND SENDING THEM IN THE NEXT DAY OR TWO, HIS PENDING NAME WILL BE "ITSTHEWHISKEYTALKIN" HE WAS BORN ON MAY 3RD AND HE IS BRED TO RUN. HIS DAM IS A TRUE BLUE ROAN MARE AND HIS SIRE IS A DARK DARK BAY. HE WILL BE APPENDIX REGISTERED. HE STANDS TO BE BRUSHED AND FLY SPRAYED ALREADY HE WILL BE VERY EASY TO BREAK WHEN HE GETS OLD ENOUGH. OPEN TO OFFERS BUT WITHIN REASON AS I HAVE NOT FULLY DECIDED ON HIS PRICE YET. MY FIANCE HAS DECIDED TO LET ME KEEP GUNNER SO HE IS NOT FOR SALE BUT THE 2 YEARLINGS ARE STILL FOR SALE, THE BAY ROAN APPENDIX FILLY WILL BE 4500 OBO AND THE BAY PAINT FILLY WILL BE 2500 OBO
