2001 AQHA gelding part-board/lease/sale
I have a 2001 bay AQHA gelding that I would like to part-board, lease or sell.
He's currently at a reining/cutting barn in Stony Plain. He's trained as a reiner, has done the Equine Canada Western Coach exam, and is awesome on cattle - he's cow bred, and has a natural instinct for cutting. Would make a great working cow horse.
The only reason I'm looking to part-board/lease/sell him is that I don't have the time to spend with him that he deserves. He's a talented horse, very intelligent, knows his stuff, and deserves to have someone that can work him, show him, etc... He has no vices, great ground manners, the only supplement I have him on is glucosamine - I had him x-rayed last year and he has a tiny bit (just a burr) of arthristis in his right hind fetlock. Nothing that bothers him.
I'd be willing to consider leasing him out as a lesson horse as well, but he wouldn't be suitable for beginner riders - intermediate and experienced only. Not because he's spooky or difficult, he's just very well trained, and wouldn't get along with someone who is unsure of cues, etc...
If interested, please contact me - I'm open to different offers/ideas.
That's him in my avatar...
