Rio is a big quiet sorrel quarter horse gelding, roughly 15.3. Suitable for a confident beginner to intermediate. He is very athletic, great disposition, rode him today through fresh powder after sitting in the pasture a few months and he kept level headed and quiet the whole way, without breaking into a sweat. Can be ridden alone or in large groups. He loves to work, loves to be on the trail, will walk or give you speed if you ask for it. Take him for a 3 hour trail ride and he will be the first to greet you the next day to go again. Promising barrel horse but i already have a barrel horse and dont need 2. neck reins, good stop. Also loves to jump and has free jumped about 2 1/2 feet. jumped him bareback in a halter. dont have the time to give him a job that he needs.
