Hello from Gibbons/Redwater area!!

My name is Nicole. Located between Gibbons & Redwater and have 2 + 1/8th horses...LOL (one being a small mini). My husband and I are pleasure /trail riders, my son 11 yrs is quite happy with his mini as he prefers the smaller animals and my daughter 13, well if she could join all horse events she would but is learning this year all the costs associated with owning horses. We have fianlly joined our local Gymkhana club here as this will be our year of learning with our horses away from our homey comfort zone...so I am a bit anxious as this is a new venture from me. Just being used to getting on your horse riding in & out of the pasture was easy & convient. So like some Hockey parents out there I will be the equine parent getting ready on Sunday Mornings loading tack, feed, horse & rider. I went to watch this club last year and before I was even in the arena I was greeted by two of the members and then entering the arena the director came and chatted with me...so can I say very welcoming...YES! I knew right then that this would be a very supportive group for us! One thing is for for sure your never run out of things to talk about when chatting with someone that also has horses!
P.S. I really wish that loading pictures on here was easier or designed for the not so computer savy...lol

Yeah!!! Another Redwater area horsey person. I live right in Redwater and keep my horse between Redwater/Gibbons at a friends place. He is a 6 year old Pintabian gelding named Shivers (hence the screen name!!). Where does the gymkana club meet and when? I would be interested in coming out to watch what they all do.

I'm in Redwater as well. Where does the Redwater Club meet??

I'm getting suckered back into do gymkhana's again and we are looking to see if their dates conflict with ours at Josephburg.

They meet at Shenfield's arena. I am not sure how often but Nicole probably does as her daughter rides with them...
