Type of De-wormer?

Ok... so it has been 12 years since I owned a horse. What type/brand of de-wormer does everyone use and find effective these days?

I usually use Equavlan (sp) Gold once a year...usually in the spring, then in the fall I use Panomec or the one with apples all over the box....LOL..can't remember the name of it right now.

I also use Safe Gaurd (the one with apples) Equvlan Gold and Panomec, I alternate each one!

I alternate between an Ivermectin product (Equell/Eqvalan etc) and a Moxidectin (Quest). They are your two powerhouse dewormers. I usually do Quest in the fall to get the bots. I just make sure that whatever I'm using is going to get large and small stronglyes and round worms for sure...
