Something a lil different

I wanted to learn more about this from hearing the term thrown around in magazines and such. Anyone do this, or hear of any local events one could go watch? My boy wouldn't be ready for something like this for a few years, and it'd take me that long to sharpen my shooting skillz anyways lmfao. Looks like something fun to keep in mind.

The only time I have seen it was at the Mane Event in Red Deer on the Saturday night. It was loud!

U think they stuff something in the horses ears to muffle the sharpness a bit? The sound of shooting startles ME enough, hurts my ears if I'm not wearing plugs.
Re: Something a lil different
they might. I problay would!
You can use those cat balls that are made of soft foam. You know those ones we used to get all the time for baby sarah and scooter?
Those are the ones we used to stuff in a geldings ears at the saddlebred show cause all the clapping made him spaz out....lol

Poor horses would probably be deaf if they didn't. You can buy horse ear plugs. I have seen them on some tack sites.
