I have been doing rescue now since Oct 07. I have placed over 60 horses in this time.

I have noticed that there is no rescue in AB that takes in OTTB and running Quarter Horses. This is what I will be focusing on starting April 1. I do have a few listing that have come in from a few TB breeders in AB and have been contacted by several more now that training has started. Each one will be evaluated as I make a point to take the pictures as they are listed on my site. That way I can see for myself their personality, agility, rider level and soundness. I also look at the race records and pedigree's.

I have recently helped a TB breeder disperse of his herd after his wife passed away last Nov with terminal cancer. All but 2 have been placed in loving homes out of 15. One I am currently restarting under saddle after having a few years off for having babies and the other is due to foal anytime.

Gem & Whiskey A.K.A Mellon Head



Mellon Head has found a home when he is weaned and Gem won't be available until she is under saddle in the spring. Her and I are bonding quite nicely, so she might only be available on lease at my stable.
