Who needs a baby horse X Donkey fix?
Okay I like ears. LONG ears. This is our molly (filly) that was born on Mother`s Day. She is by our Andalusian stallion Sueno and out of Pebbles.
Enjoy!! "BUNNY-BAT-EARS"
A whole day old!
She is a frosted spotted Buckskin hinny. A lot like a mule but might not get as tall as she would of if her dam was the horse!

Her sire is on the stallion page..Sueno who is also the sire to our horse foals
I think I have a photo of her momma. Her granddam (Wilma) is under "Does white make my A** look big"
This is Pebbles May 3 and this one April 18th
and this is the proud sire! ( I just got a call from my vet and he says he feels sorry for Sueno to admitting he did that! LOL) I don`t think so!

Re: Who needs a baby horse X Donkey fix?
Sorry forgot to answer your question. When she`s older to harness and saddle : )
We put Sueno out to pasture to fill out. He had gotten so nice and fat and we had hoped he had stopped growing but he started again. He`s running with 3 other yearling colts and our senior sire with whom he is being broke to harness with. He`s a 3 year old so is very coltish looking still! Can`t wait till HE matures!

Live cover. We didn`t even know they where pregnent til they started to look..well pregnent! This is the first time we`ve ever had a stallion breed any of our donkeys
Sueno wasn`t raised donkeys even close by till he came to Canada.

How is the other one looking, does it look like it could be any day now?
Re: Who needs a baby horse X Donkey fix?
LOL Poor Sueno!!
I guess being a male doesn't matter what species it is....tee hee hee!!!!!
Well that's proof that he produces nice offspring for sure!!!
You have mares that are infoal to him for babies this year too?

Re: Who needs a baby horse X Donkey fix?
Thank you Gallamist
All but two foals that have been born or are due this year will be Sueno babies.
We are not breeding any mares this year to Sueno or Merlin but will be breeding them to Shads our stallion from Brazil.
I just brought in our Dry Doc Joy daughter... she`s a Dry Doc 17 - Kileo Bar granddaughter. So hoping for a filly from her to keep..she`s 21 years old. I bought her as a yearling ( well traded a jersey cow for her), trained her as a 2 and 3 year old and then sold her with conditions. ( I wanted her back if she was resold and this QH HAD to have her for his program). Long story stort. I found out she was sold and went through many hands. I finally found her again in 2006 in Onterio. Bone thin and ready to die. I paid too much to get her back and for the first months just made her confortable. Needless to say she got fat, sassy, back to being easy to catch and farrier ( don`t know if she remembers any of her training) she got bred once in 2007 and produced a colt last year.
Honestly it is a shame her lines aren`t in a purebred program. I talked with one person that if she she has filly they could take her and use her FREE as long as she was well taken of but when I went to see thier horses they where all pretty much scared and they said that they would want her transfered into their name to reg the foals. First it was no deal due to the way their horses acted and second..what? I will not sign her over to anyone again nor sell her..I will sign any and all papers to reg. foals but i`m not having her go through whatever she went through after we sold her the first time! No way!
Oh how nice it would be if she has a Palomino filly!!
