From a day old to now. A full 9 years of growing up and changing colour. Although he is part Appaloosa...his mom was a gray Appaloosa. I believe he also inhereted the graying gene. So therefore I have my very own chameleon.

A day old. Such a cutie pie.

That is one thick horse!! Wowza!

He sure changed a LOT from 1 to 2 years... I definately wouldn't have thought it was the same horse! He looks like a little love bug!

WOW, thanks for posting pics of Cowboy! I'm absolutely in love, could be he reminds me so much of a horse I used to ride as a kid (only half the size, and without spots, missing an eye lol).

His build is just fantastic, what a strong and tough looking guy. A friend of mine has a blue roan appy, she's just starting to brown the past few years very lightly. I had a lil chameleon, a beautiful grey arab gelding who only a year before I got him he was a super awesome champange dun'ish colour. But when I got him he was steel grey. I love greys, never a dull moment with colour.

One downside of him now being gray is the shedding! I'm covered in head to toe with his hair with a good round of the shedding blade.

As for his size...his dad was pretty massive himself. Although hes only 14.3 but perfect for me. He has always been on the chunky side as he gains weight just from sniffing hay.... an extremely easy keeper. But so soft on his feet considering...he's a cloud to ride.

The changes in him are/were incredible from year to year! So neat to see it unfold in your pictures.

He is just stunning!
