My Boy....
Thought I would post some pics of my boy Mick and how he has grown over the years.
He is a 6yr old solid paint gelding. Blus Midnite Redeemer.
I first seen his baby photo on a PMU rescue website back in 2003. I said I must have that horse! Something about him drew me to him every day. Day after day I would check to see if he was adopted. Nope nothing....I finally filled out some sort of sponsorship where the pmu rescue would choose 3 'winners' to pick a foal they wanted. I happened to be one of the 'winners'
I logged into my email one sunny afternoon in BC and found I had 'won' him! I started to shake right away and I was so happy I cried!...Called my dad to the computer and told him what just happened! He give me a hug and said "aww good for you hun"!!!
It was a long wait from the summer to October to get him home but, once I did I fell right inlove with him. 3hrs in a paddock with him one day to get the halter on and he's been a dream to work with a train ever since!
He was a stallion for 4yrs and I breed him to my solid paint mare and we got Diesel (jezzabell's boy) Even as a stallion he was kind and gentle and well mannered. I couldn't of asked for better of him!
Now, 6yrs later we pleasure ride, he's been to some schooling shows and proven he can do what's asked of him without fighting and actually he LOVES the show ring!
This year I would really like to try some western classes with him localy at some schooling shows. Maybe i'll be brave enough to take him in a small hunter class or something.....LOL
I think he's probaly the only horse I have ever turned down 3 offers to buy. He's not for sale for any amount of money.
I hope to have him till the day he dies and for my son to learn to ride on him.
The pic that captured my heart!
His first day home!!
A few days after I got him home in Oct 2003. And after sitting out in his paddock the day before for 3hrs in the rain to get a halter on him. Ahh yes, patience pays off!

He's handsome! I love his white lips, it's almost like a milk mustache, like the got milk commercials, lol.
Re: My Boy....
His first colt got the bottom white lip from him....lol
That's what first caught my eye when I seen his picture online was his white lips...thought it was a neat and rare marking.
I have only seen one other horse with markings like him and it was a filly in BC
